Global
Hope is a Colorado non-profit corporation that was founded in 1996
with the mission of providing hands-on Christian love to the orphans of Romania
. We have twp full-time missionaries in Romania, and here in the
US we are operated by an all-volunteer staff and an all-volunteer board of
directors. We are not an adoption agency, as Romanian law currently
prevents international adoption.
Global
Hope operates three children's homes for orphans in Arad,
Romania. We also send staff members, missionaries, volunteers into
state-run orphanages to help make sure children receive the care they need to
avoid developmental disabilities.
Global
Hope currently has two full-time missionaries working in
Arad, Romania, helping to serve more and more children. Each has a term
commitment of at least one year, and most are committed to serve for at least
three years. To serve as a long-term missionary with Global Hope, you
must first participate in at least one short-term mission team.
